Little Venice & Oxford Circus with Intan and Hawa

Aiman's ex-UMP classmate is currently continuing her degree at Birmingham and as we planned to visit her at Birm just to passed her Radix Coffee that she asked to buy from Malaysia, she decided to visit us here in London instead. So together along with intan and her uni mate, hawa went to discover London (again), so we went to  a place called "Little Venice"

We managed to stopped by at king's cross station at the harry potter's 9 3/4 station...sebab da second time pergi so kami yang menjadi tourist guide mereka..

before tu kami minum2 dulu kat cafe nero. Intan suggested we should try a hot choc drink called "milano" but since I'm not a big fan of chocolate anymore I choose cappuccino..minuman orang tua sgt tau haha..

eh abang mirip harry potter peluk gua la!!issh apa ni tak baik tau pegang2 hahah..actually kitorang yang ajak dia join bergambar sebab nampak macam harry potter..staff sini memnag2 baik2 belaka layan tourist..sangat suka..amek pic ni pon semua free je..

Lastly before intan dan hawa berangkat pulang ke Birm, kami bergambar kat oxford circus yang memang tak pernah tak penuh dengan orang...rimas gak sebenarnya duduk sana..dah la orang sana besau2 belaka rasa macam terperangkap je...well anyways, thank you intan dan hawa for coming and being so friendly with us..insyaAllah kalau ada kesempatan nak je lawat korang kat UK lagi...

Trafalgar Square & Big Ben with the Brother

Ok ni memang nak kena refresh banyak2 sikit because after I went through a lot of hardships the past few weeks, I finally had the strength to stand up again. Alhamdulillah, at one point I almost thought I just lost it, but Allah is always there for me..

Ok moving on to my first intention on writing this post, so I think  a few days after we discover bits and pieces of london, me and aiman went travelling independently without kakak discovering the rest of what London city has to offer. So  again we had to take the one hour journey from kakak's place to central london. Our first stop is Trafalgar Square. Kalau pergi situ memang nak tengok muka local memang susah. Rata-rata orang yang tak cakap english. Macam kami jugak lah kan..

ha time ni keluar2 dari tube station aiman cakap lighting cantik terus suruh aku pose cepat2..ahkak dia ni memang power bab2 posing ni kan

ha yang patung emas ni nampak tak trick dia kat situ yang kononnya duduk terapung tu? saya tahu saya tahu!! kang kalau aku bagi tahu tak cari makan pakcik tu nanti..and btw tau tak kenapa dia macam muka tak mesra tourist tu? sebab aku letak kat bekas duit dia tu 2pence je..cheapskate gila kan hahaha..sebab dalam purse ada 1pound syilling tapi sayang gila nak bagi dia..maklumlah kat malaysia nilainya RM5 haha #adlinthecheapskate

kat london ni memang tak kira musim apa pon asek hujan memanjang je lagi2 masa winter..mengharapkan snow turun, tapi hujan :(  tapi hujan kat UK ni biasanya jenis macam gerimis je..jarang sangat lebat macam kat malaysia

dan untuk mendapatkan position sebegini, mulanya anda haruslah panjat platform setinggi 183cm tak silap...sebab gua memang hebat so gua leh panjat dengan senang tanpa bantuan sesiapa..takdehal bro..instead aku siap tolong tourist lain untuk panjat hahaha

dan sebenarnya many years back when I was 6 or 7, we actually went to trafalgar square..and it was way different before...it was filled with a large number of pigeons..siap memang ada lori jual pigeon food lagi siap..and you see why did I posed with my hands covering my head? because I was afraid of that "white thingy" from the pigeons hahaha..gila tak takut..busuk rambut hokeyyy...

ni la saya yang comel sangat2 kan...

and after 19 years later.....at the exact location...

no pigeons at all!!! instead siap ada sign " do not feed the pigeons" lagi...I think probably their excrement could " snow" the place...so kau tak payah nak gedik sangat letak tangan kat kepala tu

Then kami berjalan lagi dalam misi mencari jam besar kebanggaan mereka...

abang..abang ni semart lah gitu..takkan respon dalam apa jua segi..malah jika terasa nak garu2 kalau gatal pon terpaksa tahan demi mengekalkan imej semat abang..abang memang cool lah!

akhirnya misi mencari jam besar ditemui..memang tak ada specific place nak snap..ni pon kitorang and the other tourists main snap2 kat tepi jalan tempat orang nak cross jalan

Tube Station, Baker Street, King's Cross and Camden Town

Yeay I'm back in Malaysia!! yee dah sebulan lebih aku balik tapi baru sekarang nak update blog kan..sebab apa? sebab mulanya laptop aku yang dah 5 tahun berkihdmat ni kadang2 benggong sikit..so harap2 bila aku dah ada duit lebih sikit aku beli lah laptop baru...

Ok without wasting time, so after 3 to 4 days of jet lagged at kakak's room, the two of us persuade kakak to take us around central london..because currently we are living at ceruk2 london, so we have no idea about transport and such. So kakak took us for a little tour around london

Mula-mula, we took a bus from kakak's hostel to pekan uxbridge, pekan lah sangat kan haha...I really like Britain's transportation. Its really convenient and there's an app where you can know which bus to take and what time the bus arrived.

for anyone who is a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, they will surely know why this train station stop is popular

 The main reason why we made our stop at baker street is to change stations to King's Cross..Whats so special about King's Cross?

Ok this may seems like a normal  train station, but if you can see yang jejantas kat hujung belakang tu kan, its the place where Hagrid dropped off Potter to platfrom  9 3/4!!! 

and yeah, boleh berangan2 ala Harry Potter sekejap kat sini..kakak has the perfect shot, yang aku ngn aiman cam hampeh sikit

and there's a harry potter shop..bought a couple of  keychains and a wand-like pen

Then, we took the train again to Camden Town, The main purpose we went here is to fulfill aiman's wishes to visit the place where his favorite metal band takes place for tonight's show..

pas penat berjalan2 balik ke uxbridge and we went to a halal ala mexican food restaurant..peri-peri cottage namanya...tengok pic macam sodap gila kan...tapi tekak aku ni bukan boleh masuk pon dengan makanan yang kering,,tapi lapar punya pasal hentam jugak la

The Days In Great Britain (Part 2) : Uxbridge, Brunel University

On 4:30p.m 3/2/2014 we safely arrived at Heathrow, london. Imagine a 13hour daylight flight for the both of us, It was a total big relief. Then as soon as we arrived, we were supposed to fill up these arrival cards to get through the british immigration officers (don't really know the exact terms orang-orang tersebut) but since nobody told us about that, so kami pon selamba jela redah..as soon as we get there, the 40 year old officer asked us several questions that we didn't expect to..some of them are dia punya psycho gila bila tanya tu that makes aiman a little bit of gelabah... then I tried to answer all his questions as calmly as I could..although in the inside even I was "gelabah" a bit..

Alhamdulillah we got through it,,kakak picked us up at the airport after waiting for her for about an hour since she had to travel by bus and its her first time going to heathrow alone since her touchdown on last october..so at first we were mad for waiting for her but after knowing her situation so lama2 hilang rasa nak marah tu..

As soon as I reached kakak's room, dia punya kelegaan tak terkata..the first thing that I wanna do is to lie down on her comfy bed..but thats not possible when your sister is a hygienic freak kan. but I managed to "qada" my total hours of jet lagged the next day..

So kakak said that in a few days she is going to be a bit busy considering that she has to submit a few assignments on that day so me and aiman had to go exploring uxbridge ourselves..

ni lak just a five minute walking distance from brunel ...saja gedik amok pic sini..almaklumlah jakun 

ni pic aku post kat facebook yang mengundang likes terbanyak dalam sejarah dan juga  pelbagai persoalan common seperti " adlin sambung study ke?"  sampai ke sudah aku tak jawab..biarkan mereka dengan soalan2 sebegitu muahahaha...alaa sooner or later people will know the truth..penat gak nak balas komen sorang2..oh btw ni pic dekat brunel university..just around kawasan hostel

and this was taken on our 3rd day at london..when we were just strolling around the campus..nasib pagi lagi so tak kacau orang..nak snap pic pon tak malu sangat lol..and it was freezing cold..i think the temperature was around 3 to 5 degrees

this is the hall"s kitchen where i spent most of my time here..kakak"s flatmates bila nampak aku masak mesti diorang akan cakap " jasmine never cooks" ..well yeah i know haha..dapur punya cantik  mestilah aku  suka duduk sini

Then coincidently aiman's college friend was there on holiday too so we decided to meet up and had coffee together

with farah (final year business student at brunel) and elynn aiman's friend...adik2 ini sangatlah baik walaupun datang dari family yang berada

dan mereka lebih baik lagi when they cooked dinner for us

Ok sangatlah lega bila dah setel part 2 of this trip..basically uxbridge is located in west london where it is sort of like ulu london pada pendapat saya lah kan. It is a nice neighbourhood, not hectic and a great place to stay..

Journey to Great Britain (Part 1) : How?

The title sounds so lame right..but its the only title that came up my mind when writing this post. And yes, it has been a while since I last blogged mainly because I didn't bring my precious laptop with me here and it makes the blogging thing more difficult as I have to sneak in my sister's laptop whenever she is sleeping or taking a shower ..macam sekarang ni la..that I won't know how long it would last.

Ok berbalik pada the real thing is..how did I get here?I mean being in the United Kingdom is so out of my reach..ni ha mek jah nak cerita.. you know my sister jasmine is pursuing her masters degree at Brunel University which is located at west London. She has been there since October 2013. That time  I was on my last semester of my bachelors degree and I figure that I really should take a long break after finishing my studies and having the greatest escape ever.

How did I get that much of money to support my trip?Well obviously I don't come from a wealthy family that easily gets what they want...so normal people like me would have to earn it..dan ya Allah kemanisannya lain macam tau bila kita travel pakai duit kita sendiri. If uolls kenal I or rajin baca blog I uolls tahu dari mana dapatnya pendapatan yang menjana kepada wang travel dan sebagainya..to make it short, being a part time tuition teacher and allowance from several programs that I joined helped me throughout this journey. and my brother airman had spared his practical training allowance for this trip

So on 3/2/2014 me together with my lil bro aiman went to a 13 hour flight from KLIA to Heathrow. Its been a long time since I last hop on an airplane so I kinda freak out a little..I can't even sleep the night before our flight..I think last time was during my matriculation years where I took a 45min flight from Penang to Kuantan..tapi tu macam tak dikira lah kan..45min punggung pon tak sempat nak rasa panas. Dalam 13jam flight economy yang agak sempit tu I really don't know what to do. I can't sleep, and although the food is superbly delicious, but you have to eat it really fast...tak best langsung la untuk seorang slow eater like me..tambah pula dengan this old couple that sat in front of us yang boleh dikatakan farts like every 1 hour...ok but thats about it.

until outside temperature reaches around -40 degrees..could you see the snow flakes sticking at my window?

subahanAllah this is soooo breathtaking...land fully covered with snow..I think this was around amsterdam if I'm not mistaken

and yeah the food was nice..and I got so bored that I always feel like eating all the time..asek panggil je akak stewardess tu  mintak air or juice

and I kept looking at this  like every hour..bila la nak sampai ni hoi..the fact that I can't sleep that makes me feel so bored that I forced myself to watch super boring movies so that I can fell asleep but tak jalan gak..oh did I mention that our 13 hour flight was literally 13 hour daylight? well yeah..
